​BM Picture & frame is a small business producing custom frames for the preservation of original artworks such as original paintings, photographs, Limited edition posters, with the ability to provide custom frames for almost any 3d objects for art galleries and artists. They have been in this field for more than 30 years, and they are showcasing wall arts in downtown Toronto's showroom in addition to producing frames.

Bruce Brahman, the owner and master of framing, is holding two certifications for Advanced Conservation Framing & Advanced mat/frame design.
BM Picture has been one of the 10th best Framing companies in Ontario for the last 30 years in- terms of quality and pricing. 

They were successful as a small business for three decades. Still, at the same time, it was gaining less market share due to widespread market changes and competitors turning to new ways of advertising, including online advertising and online sales.

  Here is the classic example of a common problem in most small businesses, that have unique & specialized services, but cannot compete with their more established competitors in marketing.

To this end, David Mantegh ( Mantegh Studio)  joined the business as a designer and artist so that in addition to creating a new marketing system, he would add other services to the company with the vision of increasing its competitiveness and market share as a business partner.

Having a practical and straight forward website was an essential task to be done. The web site came to life and introduced to potential clients. 

The work progress steps: 
1- Making the site map after understanding the production process. 
2- Making the website prototype Using Adobe XD.
3- Design the user interface. ( using the CSS method ).
4- Making the product mockups in order to show the services to the web user.
5-  Connecting the web site to Google Business, Google analytic and using the essential 
      keywords in the process of web development.  

Product Design

The most important way for BM Picture to be part of the market in a better way, was to design and produce new authentic artworks under the brand's name. 
In this process, like any other product design, we had to do some research on the market's needs, and we follow these steps below. 

1- Find the right subjects that can catch the client's eyes, base on market research. 
2- We designed and executed the artworks with the genuine and traditional techniques, like oil painting, Acrylic and Watercolour, to create our authentic artworks.
3- We started to find the right frames that show our artworks in the best way to consider the final price for them. 
4- We made some product mockups to showcase them on their website and could be used in different marketing tools.

• Competition in the market was huge, and the brand name went on their bad phase, looking forward to becoming extinct as new brands popping up, and this gradually deprived the business.

• To have better communicate and recognize the potential client's needs, we needed to connect the website to a couple of social media platforms and promote the services and portfolios available on these networks.
